Address not shown in land use areas

Not a new bug (very old actually), but in OM, land uses with address don't have their address displayed in Place Page (but the housenumber is shown in the map).

As far as I know, it happens with any type of landuse=*

Just remembered this after seeing #8151 and #8162

I don't think it's local practice. You can check on Overpass Turbo it spans a lot of countries.

Quick cases I don't think it's bad mapping:

• Residential condominiums with many houses/buildings (fenced area), with a guarded entrance (barriers, security guards etc)
• Industrial areas (mapped as landuse=industrial)

i guess there's no harm in enabling it, but it still seems weird to have such a large area with a housenumber.. (https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/24931203 in particular)

I agree, address on landuse is missing and should be supported.
