Dear Users,
We would like to bring to your attention the guidelines that should be followed while hiring third-party freelancers, as there have been instances of fraudulent activity by some unscrupulous freelancers in the past. Please note that while we aim to provide these guidelines to protect our organization, we do not hold any responsibilities for the tasks assigned to freelancers.
Verify the freelancer's identity: Ensure that you have verified the freelancer's full name, address, and contact information before entering into any agreement with them.
Check their portfolio: Review the freelancer's previous work and client references to ensure their authenticity and quality of work.
Use secure payment methods: Use secure payment methods such as PayPal to ensure that payments are protected and the risk of fraud is minimized.
Clarify scope of work: Clearly define the scope of work, timeline, and budget before starting any project. This will help to avoid any misunderstandings or disputes in the future.
Stay vigilant: Stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity or requests for additional payments to the appropriate authorities.
We hope that these guidelines will help protect our organization/team from any potential scams by third-party freelancers. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to report any activity.
Thank you for your attention.
Best regards,
@opensourcepos/org
