The multi-sig was established as an interim solution. Given the lack of Serum DAO responsiveness and longterm incentives to maintain and improve the program, I would favor to release the multi-sig of it's duties and remove the program's update authority.

Full immutability is dangerous. If/When a new bug would be discovered this would be fatal. Also not sure how well audited serum was

Community must find a way to upgrade between final versions. UIs must be ready to settle funds and upgrade version on critical updates.

turns out it was never audited
