Wrong coordinates in Florida #6974
Comments
The statewide datasets for Florida were removed in #6554 because of its inaccurate data, however it looks like this hasn't been reflected in batch.openaddresses.io. I recommend using the geojson for Okaloosa County (https://batch.openaddresses.io/job/332479) |
That one is wrong too. This is 16.6 miles off / the correct latitude,longitude must be: 30°49'21.8"N 86°35'06.0"W |
This is where it shows this address in QGIS, which seems consistent with what GeoHack shows for the lat/lon provided above: |
My bad. This one looks fine. The only issue now is that the bad data is part of the default download file. |
statewide2-addresses-state.geojson:{"type":"Feature","properties":{"hash":"88f3f541c169e297","number":"25","street":"RICKEY AVE NE","unit":"","city":"FORT WALTON BEACH","district":"OKALOOSA","region":"","postcode":"32547","id":""},"geometry":{"type":"Point","coordinates":[-86.3611298,30.2635127]}}
"[-86.3611298,30.2635127]" in in the open sea.
