Hi there is a thread on the main Foundation Github discussing the current state of the project, its starting to sound like Foundation has been abandoned, which obviously puts the future of FoundationPress in doubt.

Any ideas whats happening

Oh no, just saw the thread also on Foundation's Github... Too bad... Maybe will be time for a BootStrapPress? ;) What are the good alternative for Foundation? I found it so useful, it's very quick to make a website with FoundationPress...

I'll be gutted if it does die, the same thing happened to me with Gumby. There is something called StrapPress but no idea what its like. I'm hoping this will come back to life - so much work has been put into it.

I have also heard that Foundation is no longer maintained. I also wonder if FoundationPress has a future or not. I currently have very little time left to spend on the project, which unfortunately but unavoidably, is also reflected in processing time on pull requests and issues. If anyone wants to take over ownership of FoundationPress, I am open to discussing a project transfer.

There was a semi-positive response from Rafi at Zurb -

"We have a plan to transition Foundation over to the community and separate the ZURB name because we can no longer invest in it as a company. For so many reasons, this process which started in January 2019 has stalled. We don't want to just cut the ZURB name off and say bye. There needs to be a strong, official, foundation of leadership and direction to make this work.

We believe the project will be even stronger in your hands. In the meantime we need to continue finding bugs, fixing bugs, and providing opinions."
