MFA code accepted even though it is incorrect #214
Comments
Need to recheck it. According to description it more looks like a bug in Okta rather than in okta-awscli |
I could not re-produce this either |

Describe the bug
MFA code is accepted even though it is incorrect. The code contains 6 digits but i managed to authenticate using this particular mfa code
722^?1010
which is clearly incorrect although quite similar to the original one. This has happened a few times always with the^?
characters involved which I manage to squeeze in since i am typing too fast. I don't know if it is only those chars that create the issue but something is wrong here.To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
722^?1010
. This is not 100% reproducible but has occurred to me a few times.Expected behavior
User should not be authenticated but does get the authentication tokens to export.
