Enhancement: PAUSE button

It will be nice to have a PAUSE/RESUME button, especially for a very big 
package updates/installs.
One can invent many use-cases when such a button would be necessary.

I would need more information about your actual use case. Which package do you 
try to install? How long does it take? How fast is you Internet connection? Why 
would you like to pause the task?

use case #1:
In my situation I just have installed Npackd and wanted to update some external 
software. I just launched the installation of the new version through the 
Npackd and then realized that I need to uninstall the old version first because 
it was not detected by Npackd. The Npackd was in the download stage and the 
progress was about 50%. The only option was the "cancel" button. But in fact if 
there were a "pause" button I could have used it, uninstall old version and 
press "resume".

use case #2:
I am in the stage of updating all the application and the internet bandwidth is 
fully utilized (consider me using 3G/ADSL modem with a not fantastic speed). 
Suddenly If I need to do a VOIP call or go to some heavy site I can't do it. In 
muTorrent there is "pause all" button. Here I don have any, I can only cancel 
each job manually.

Under the linux I can just press the ^Z hotkey, and resume with "fg" command. 
Unfortunatly Windows does not provide any command of this kind.

@vasily: All those use examples are for downloading the packages not for the 
installation process once they have been downloaded.
That being said, this is a good idea and would be a useful feature
