This looks like you're set up pretty well to add a timeline and keyframe style animation system. With this not needing things like iray and etc for the rendering it should be really really light on resources and super fast rendering times. The resulting videos/animations could serve as controlnet base for batch image 2 image or for movie to movie extensions.
you probably have enough of a base here to make a full on animation setup for controlnet by incorporating many useful features with none of the resource requirements typically associated. This could definitely be expanded upon.
I meant to just suggest the timeline with the keyframes for animation. You're most of the way there already.
