Background

New comer who just did benchmark in #1977.

And found nodegit is fastest, compared to isomorphic-git and simple-git.

Worry

3 years ago, under default latest tag, 0.27.0 is published.

In 3 years, under next tag, alpha version grow to 0.28.0-alpha.21

I get a bit worry.

Question

  • When can we reach version 0.28.0?
  • Are there any road blockers?

I'm on the verge of considering this project effecticely dead. May switch to writing some handlers to execute vanilla git.
