Wrong chipset for the T2U Plus, fails to see 5G networks #26
Comments
i believe the adapter you have might be the new/old hw revision of archer t2u plus my lsusb output shows : i am speculating this because similar h/w revisions have caused confusion before , in the case of TP-Link TL-WN722N |

According to multiple sites, eg https://deviwiki.com/wiki/TP-LINK_Archer_T2U_Plus, the T2U Plus uses the RTL8811AU chipset, not the one described in the README here.
When using this driver, my adapter fails to see 5G networks. Using this one, everything works.
So, a pretty big deal as this name and README for this project seems to be wrong.
