hi,

I'm not sure, if this is possible at all.
I need to generate hostname alias based on the original hostname.

I have hostname like this:

dc1-host01.co.intra
dc1-host02.co.intra
dc2-host01.co.intra
dc2-host02.co.intra
otherdc-host01.co.intra
otherdc-host02.co.intra

What I need are aliases for the host configs, like this:

host101
host102
host201
host202
host301
host302

Is that possible in any way?
