Shape Flash on Hover

So I was trying to do a simple animation when the user hover over en element an it works but there is a "flash" when the animation starts. Check out this codepen http://codepen.io/mateobaal/pen/EWxvwz

That's bug in Shape module. You can solve it by overriding the _hide function - demo.
