What happened?

  • Minimal Mistakes version: 4.24.0
  • Ruby gem or remote theme version:
  • Jekyll version:
  • Git repository URL:

  • Operating system:

Expected behavior

In the theme headings non-related to the content on the page is marked up with html-headings. This might impact SEO, when the author name, related articles and follow m is also marked up with headings. The support at Surfer SEO and other people working a lot with SEO suggests that these are marked up with a regular p-tag instead and is styled with the CSS to resemble a headline.

Would you accept a pull request with this behavior?

Steps to reproduce the behavior

It is standard behavior of the theme to markup up un-related content with heading tags.
