Can you verify that you are using the correct version of python and not for example the default/stock system python unless they are one in the same? Once confirmed you should start the python interpreter from the VM and try to invoke the command that is causing the issue as it may be necessary to set the python path :

Can you confirm that mitmproxy module is visible from within the Heroku environment? Did you install mitmproxy via this method https://docs.mitmproxy.org/dev/overview-installation/#installation-from-the-python-package-index-pypi

I am using mitmproxy with Python. Python version is 3.11.0 and mitmproxy version is 10.2.0. When I install mitmproxy, it installed other dependencies such as
When I run in my local environment, it works fine but when I tried to run in Heroku, it returns an error. The error looks like this
When I check build log in Heroku, the package is installed properly with same version that I have in my local environment.
