ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED #5720

The problem here is that Chrome requires Certificate Transparency log entries for all certificates that that trace back to system CAs. If you add mitmproxy as a user-added CA (not via magsik, but manual install), this error should go away. I'm not sure what happens if a CA is both present as a system CA and user-added CA. Does that still work? Could you take a look and report back? ;) |

Hello, what is a recommended solution to intercept all web requests from Android (including Chrome and other apps)? |

I also had this issue while using Magisk to add the Mitmproxy cert to the system store. After trying all of the solutions previously discussed in this thread, I opted to just install an older build of Chromium (v98 or older should work fine). |

Edit: this issue and the solution are discussed at length here: https://httptoolkit.com/blog/chrome-android-certificate-transparency/
Steps taken:
Also note that when attempting to install the mitmproxy certificate for "VPN and Apps" instead, it yields the error "This file can't be used as a VPN or app certificate."
