I have tried with a lot of luck but not when trying to login to Oculus it fails as the server does not trust the cert, so when I had the mitmproxy cert as a user installed cert, I used "apk-mitm" to disable certificate pinning and it worked as I was getting nothing from Oculus but now I was getting most requests but login was still failing, so then, as I have a rooted phone, I installed mitmproxy ca cert as a system cert (and installed the default Oculus APK) as Android starting from 7 only trusts system certs by default, and now I was getting most requests but ran into the same issue, "tlsv1 alert unknown ca" for the login Oculus was still blocking it because somehow, Oculus doesn't trust a system-wide cert, I was wondering if there is anything I could do as I'm trying to make a better, more lightweight Oculus casting app because on my android TV, the app is not working well and hard to navigate and because I think I can improve the performance and make it easier to cast (like no need to login to Facebook) and if I do, I'll be releasing the app as FOSS if anyone wants it. I have already investigated the oculus.com/casting and I'm trying to see how the app does it if the functionality is different or easier (as if the functionality was the same, then you wouldn't need to choose between Oculus app and browser casting)
