User Story

As a Modernisation Platform engineer
I want to have one dashboard for all alerting
So that I have a better visibility of it.

Value / Purpose

Better health of the platform through better observability.

Additional Information

This is in particularly to look into plugging into the existing Observability Platform following this user guide.

This is to implement a PoC using one account as an example and to learn whether it is the right tool for the MP short term. The PoC should also evaluate which accounts should be included if we wanted to use it on the whole platform level (and to see if it would vary from one account to another).

Jacob W has confirmed he is available to help if required.

Definition of Done

  • PoC is implemented for one account
  • List of accounts it should be enrolled to (if implementing it further) is documented
  • Differences between enrolling it into various accounts are understood and documented
  • Another team member has reviewed the PoC solution
  • Deployment pipeline runs clean
  • Solution is demoed to the team and the next steps are agreed
  • Follow on ticket(s) are created (if any)
