Some latex code can not be compiled correctly. According to the error info, I think this might be caused by KaTex. But when I open those notebook in web (run 'jupyter notebook' in terminal), those math can be shown correctly. Here is the screenshot.
And the source code is shown below,
\begin{equation}
\minimize_{W_1, W_2} \;\;\frac{1}{m} \sum_{i=1}^m \ell_{\mathrm{softmax}}(W_2^T \mathrm{ReLU}(W_1^T x^{(i)}), y^{(i)}).\end{equation}
Or alternatively, overloading the notation to describe the batch form with matrix $X \in\mathbb{R}^{m \times n}$, this can also be written
\begin{equation}
\minimize_{W_1, W_2} \;\;\ell_{\mathrm{softmax}}(\mathrm{ReLU}(X W_1) W_2, y).\end{equation}
Does anyone know how to add the support for those extra control sequence in the jupyter extension on vs code? Any suggestions will be fully appericated.
