On Monday, Jun 5, we showed you what Teams tabs are, how to build them using Teams Toolkit and how to benefit from the SharePoint Framework to host them on Microsoft 365
We started with @olguzzar and @aycabas showing you what tab apps are and how they benefit you. You've learned how you can use GitHub Codespaces to instantaneously start developing without having to set up your dev environment first. You've also seen, how you can use Teams Toolkit to simply press F5 and test your app in Microsoft Teams.
Then, @VesaJuvonen told us about the SharePoint Framework (SPFx): Microsoft 365-hosted model for building apps for Microsoft Teams, Outlook, the Microsoft 365 app, Microsoft Viva and SharePoint. You've seen how you can write your code once and have your app follow the user across the different Microsoft 365 apps. You've also learned about the benefits of using SPFx: hosting on Microsoft 365 without additional cloud resources, SSO and simplified access to APIs secured with Azure AD.
The session is available for on-demand viewing on the Microsoft 365 Developer YouTube channel at https://aka.ms/hack-together-teams/session2
Check it out, and please don't hesitate to let us know if you've got any questions. Happy coding! 馃懢
