Is VS 2022 17.4 Breaking TS-generated apps? How about .NET 7?

Is Template Studio for WinUI C# supposed to work with Visual Studio 2022 (17.4)? I just created a new app from scratch and met with this error. I know I've run into this before, but can't remember what fixed it:

The project doesn't know how to run the profile with name '_____ (Package)' and command 'MsixPackage'

Also, do we expect switching to ".NET 7" in the csproj properties will "just work"?

Specifying <TargetFramework>net6.0-windows10.0.22621.0</TargetFramework> fixed the error above.

Also, .NET 7.0 works with <TargetFramework>net7.0-windows10.0.22621.0</TargetFramework>
