3A peak current is prolly fine for stock coils, but i.e. R8 Red Tops pull horrendous 8A while charging, may be worthwhile to replace that with a higher current driver.

Consider MCP14A0454, lower propagation delay, lower output resistance, slightly higher peak current.

Or TC4422A, same family, also non-inverting, 9A peak.
