People search retains and displays old results inappropriately on second account

Describe the bug

Search for people is now completely broken for me. Yesterday I was able to search for a friend, and found his ID. But now I can only see his results, no matter who I search for!

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Unclear how to cause it but here's how I see the problem

1. Go to search
2. Observe that people tab button is not available yet (boo)
3. Type an authors name: ericasadun
4. Tabs appear, All is selected, but no contents
5. Tap people
6. Observe 5 results for my friend Satnam, how I searched for yesterday.

Expected behavior

When I do a search for a person, the results of that search should be displayed for a limited time, and only while the search string remains the same

when I search for a second person using a new search string, I should see search results matching the new search string (or no search results). the original search results should not appear.

I just noticed that my primary account in metatext does not have this problem.

so it's not universal. Something about my account, history or the fact it's the second account is causing this

This went away after a bit. It did last for 2 days
