After reading the docs I found that we have the special
_geoPoint
sorting function, this function enables the search engine to execute a special computation given an specific function and uses that score to sort the results, is there any way to create our custom sorting functions? My use case is basically the reddit one, I have a an index with a
created
attribute and I want to create a trending search (after filtering with search keywords), the formula reddit uses (used?) is publicly available like here, but it uses the difference between the current timestamp and fixed initial timestamp, I can easily update the votes for a given document, but I don't know how to introduce the current timestamp (doesn't matter if is provided by me or by meilisearch) on the search, is there anything I am missing? Thanks in advance any help is appreciated
