Activities Overview not working after removal nor disabling #990
Comments
I could solve the issue just by resetting my entire GNOME configuration for my account because I just didn't have the time to dig through all of these settings and try to figure out what was causing this problem. But I think this isn't a real solution and if the problem is replicable then please fix it because otherwise it is really a pain and if not please mark this as resolved. Have a nice day |

Describe the bug
After I have successfully installed the extension from the official GNOME Shell extensions, everything worked fine until I tried to disable the extension. Because then my GNOME turned back to the default mode and every shortcut and functionality was back to the state before installation except for the Activities Overview was not showing up.
I tried to open the Activities Overview (with this I mean the place where you can see your virtual desktops and also apps that are open or that can be opened) with 4 methods but not a single one worked:
dbus-send --session --type=method_call --dest=org.gnome.Shell /org/gnome/Shell org.gnome.Shell.Eval string:'Main.overview.show();'
But still no luck..., and now I can't open any apps....
