Markdown React (MDX) is an extension of Markdown that adds support for React components. These are either represented as inline JS or as custom HTML tags which function as abstractions of React components.
MDX is built-in to Docusaurus and is one of the more popular ways to extend Markdown with interactive and dynamic features.
.mdx documents themselves are very similar to .md files. The main difference is the file extension, and the presence of inline JS and custom HTML tags. As a result, I believe that adding MDX support to markmap would be relatively straightforward.
Has anyone configured markmap to support MDX? Is support on the roadmap? Thank you!
