Feature Request: Update Functionality via Hooks in cx_Freeze

My name is Kenneth Lumor and I'm a developer using cx_Freeze to create a College Management System application.

I'm impressed with the continuous improvements to cx_Freeze, especially the new hooks for better library support in version 6.15.

I'm writing to suggest the possibility of incorporating update functionality through hooks in cx_Freeze. This would allow users to create executables with the ability to check for updates and potentially download and install new versions.

Automatic updates would significantly enhance the user experience by eliminating the need for manual updates and ensuring users always have the latest version. In my College Management System project, for example, update hooks would allow me to deliver updates with new features or bug fixes without requiring users to re-download the entire application.

I understand that cx_Freeze might not be the primary tool for automatic updates. However, integrating update hooks could provide more flexibility for users who want to implement custom update mechanisms within their frozen executables.

I'm open to discussing this feature further and providing any additional information that might be helpful.
