Make the duration (with start time & end time) of a show ajustable to the split second #2951
Comments
Do you currently get silence at all? In my experience we don't |
For the moment, Libretime is just installed on a test platform, not in production (we plan to change the piece of software we use in the next months). So we have no content for the whole day. So we have silences... :) What bothers me is that if I have a show with a time period of 1 hour and my track duration is only 59 minutes and 30 seconds long, I would like to be able to adjust the time period of the show to the track(s) added to this show. It would allow me to eventually start the next show a little bit earlier. Sometime, I can add some short content to fill the gap, but not every time. I hope my request is a little bit clearer. |
Is your feature request related to a problem?
As a radio, it is needed to stream 24/7 with almost no silence. So we need to adjust the duration for each show to the split second.
No granularity smaller than a minute seems to me as an issue, sort of.
Describe the solution you'd like
It seems to me that it would be great if we can adjust time to the split second (at least as an option).
Describe alternatives you've considered
Make it optional and not mandatory.
