A big problem that's been around forever in this space is that only some features require higher resolution. A recent example is my bolt: the threads require higher resolution, whereas the rest of the model doesn't. It would be nice to some how specify different regions of a space as requiring a different resolution. I imagine this could be done with a new render_mesh function that takes a (region,resolution)[], and can output the final mesh...
