ShouldSpec and BehaviorSpec based tests when executed by Maven Failsafe Plugin or Maven Surefire Pluing (using JUnit5 runner) generate XML reports (in target/failsafe-reports or target/surefire-reports directory) with empty name fields in testcase elements.

Kotest version 5.9.0
Maven version 3.9.6
Maven Failsafe Plugin version 3.2.5
Maven Surefire Plugin version 3.2.5
JUnit Jupiter version 5.10.2
