nuxt i18n has just recently released v8 beta 13. With this release, we believe that the I/F has stabilized greatly.

The status of nuxt i18n issue is as follows.

There are some bugs, but I only need to fix them.
I’ve implemented already features of nuxt i18n module, so
I will release v8 RC in the next release as long as there are no major issues,

About release the schedule, maybe, v8 RC will be available as early as the end of July, but I can't guarantee that since I am not a full-time open source developer like the Nuxt Framework team. Please understand.
