wix auto-update

since wix executables are now hosted on github, it would be possible to let wix auto-update over the updater. but for it to work, the shims would have to be removed.

Why would we have to remove the shims? The updater should leave them where they are during the update process.

wix is changing his standard installation path every bigger version step. while the wix executables can be auto-updated over the updater, the shims cannot. it would be necessary to update the shims manually (in the registry) regardless, which would make auto-updating wix pointless.

I'm planning on adding a way to update any installer options through the updater (needed for VirtualBox Extpack to work). If the shims change in a predictable way, eventually it would be possible to update them through the updater too.
