Please check everything that applies to your issue:

  • I looked in closed issues and it has not already been answered
  • My issue appeared with a terminal-notifier update
  • I'm using a tool that uses terminal-notifier (guard-notifier, node-notifier...)

To help us debug your issue please include:

  • macOS 12.0.1 (M1 Max, 64gb version)
  • terminal-notifier version 2.0.0
  • installed with homebrew

repro steps:

  • run terminal-notifier -message "test"
  • pops up a notification saying it needs to be enabled in notification center
  • enable it in notification center/system prefs
  • future invocations of the same thing do nothing
    Console.app log shows:

I'm running into the exact same issue with macOS 12.2.1. I installed terminal-notifier via Homebrew using brew install terminal-notifier.

@AlJohri The fix for this has been posted and will roll out with the latest revision (typo on my part).

@mattpackwood So, uh, is there any plan to release a version with this fix? It's been a year. 😂
