Filtering an output before generating documentation

Let's assume I have a project containing multiple namespaces. Is there a way of generating documentation only for a specific namespace? My idea is to extract a public part of the documentation to create docs that will be widely accessible, but I don't want this to include documentation for a code that is not public.

I know I can generate an explanation JSON and filter it by memberof, but I don't know of any solution that would allow me to generate documentation out of this format (except by creating some custom templating).
