Session timeout does not work on the certain features

I tried running this quickstart example and found out when I chose certain menus which end with 'create' for example Passport create, or Author create, the session did not timeout even after waiting for more than 10 minutes. The other menus (...Search) did timeout.
Am I missing some codes that should be running ? Please show solutions to this problem.
