Having the input hex value in lower case does not set the picker color

  • bootstrap-colorpicker version: 3.4.0
  • bootstrap version: 4.6
  • jQuery version: 3.5.1
  • Browser name and version: Any but tested in Chrome
  • Operative System name and version: Windows

Expected behavior

Color to match value in any case

Actual behavior

Color is #000000

Now I understand I could force the case to upper before setting the input...
but figure why since case is not an issue in hex colors on any browser
