I have a small computer that I need to boot from a Windows server. The small computer will have a hard drive that only has iPXE on it. It will boot to iPXE, and I would like to setup iPXE to connect to the Windows server iSCSI and boot from the image that is there.
I've been doing a ton of research, and I thought I read at one time that I could use Win2VHD to make a running image of the remote computer, put it on the iSCSI server, and boot from it, but I came across something today that said that won't work. I researched using a WIM image as well. I figured it would be a good idea to just ask what the path of least resistance is for what I'm trying to do is so I don't spend hours trying things that won't work. I just want to make an image for the small computer that I can stick on the iSCSI server that it can boot from.
