Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
Installed via PPA

Tried to extract .png image sequence from .mp4 file without extra options.
Conversion starts but the output directory stays empty.

Hi,

If you read the 'success' dialog box in the centre, you will see that it did NOT convert it as it says 'Converted 0/1'
That means it converted 0 of 1 - It failed.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Thanks

no worries, but is this a bug/broken or does it needs extra options to work?

Not sure, but what's the output from the progress box (with the blue bar). Click on the arrow near 'Details'. It might give some useful info.

Did it help?

What I get is this:

multiconv_error

still stuck, "no image defined" looks like I need to define somewhere an image name?

tested on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and 20.04 LTS
