HTC VIVE Elite headset cannot be detected! #440
Comments
The HTC VIVE Elite headset uses VIVE business streaming and steam vr at the same time. However, the openbrush program cannot detect VR. I ran another older version the openbrush which supports steamvr works fine with the HTC VIVE Elite headset |
It sounds like your OpenXR runtime may not be set to SteamVR? |
The OpenBrush version I used didn't support SteamVR anymore |
@cz2011301070 SteamVR provides an OpenXR runtime, so it will still work. SteamVR was recently updated to better support more obscure headsets/controllers, please could you try again? |
@cz2011301070 any update on this? If not, I will look to close the issue. |
I was using the HTC VIVE Elite headset, however, while I was running this unity program, it reminds me that the 'Tiltasaurus says... Failed to detect VR'.
In the playersettings, I installed the openxr and checked the openXR box.
In the app config, I selected sdk mode of 'unityXR'.
So I think the all the configuration was correct.
Besides, I also tried an older version of the openbrush which used steamvr. It worked well in the HTC VIVE Elite headset.
So what should I do if I want to use this openxr version openbrush on my HTC VIVE Elite headset?
