Proposal title: JSON data viewer in Tree Format and Combined WorkSpace
Proposal description: JSON DATA VIEWER - The current response is either in the form of JSON or RAW. For a lot of developers, it is often required to access a part of the total response instead of the whole JSON Object. This can be achieved by creating a JSON tree. The keys are displayed as clickable branches which reveal the values inside them. An implementation of this can be seen on Online JSON VIEWER. This makes it easier for developers to read the response and increases efficiency as the developer does not need to leave the platform. I am aware a feature similar to this exists on the platform but that is available only when you click on an item in the response window.
COMBINED WORKSPACE- Since the website supports authentication, making a combined workspace for developers working on the same project might be a good addition. A workspace keeping track of all the APIs you and your co-workers are using in real-time. This will save development time as one team member can easily access the endpoint that's already on the history list without the need to hit the API again individually.
Proposal roadmap: (brief list of things you will do/create, in some rough chronological order)
Pre-externship period - Learn about Vue.js as the framework to be used, along with NuxtJS and NestJS.
Implement JSON viewer feature on a Fork of the original project.
Testing the JSON Viewer on different API endpoints
Deploying the feature onto the original project if approved
Study about keeping track of real-time data and synchronization between accounts
Implement Combined Workspace feature on a Fork of the original project
Testing Combined workspace among a group of contributors
Releasing the feature if approved on the original project
About Me:
I am Abhigyan Gautam, currently a third-year IT student. I have built web-based applications using HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT for the frontend and Django and Flask for the backend. I have worked with RESTful APIs. I have also built a project using fastAPI, so I am familiar with Swagger. For the services on my projects I have used Firebase's Realtime Database and Authentication features and worked with PostgreSQL. I have a bit of experience in ReactJS, although it's a skill I am working on, along with improvements in the above-mentioned fields. I like to make projects to learn a particular technology and I am hoping to contribute to this project.
