hjson.org #96
Comments
That's good to know about the .org prices. I think hjson.github.io is great as long as there's some kind of forwarding from hjson.org |
Well, the forward can only be active until the domain expires. I can pay it for another year if that helps. |
I'm fine either way. Keeping it alive for longer would definitely help the transition though |
I do think that a "proper" domain can often help with adoption and the like. If someone is renewing the domain I can certainly chip in. |
I've renewed the domain for another year. @NuSkooler I think you are putting too much value into this - https://hjson.github.io looks good and is way less trouble. I'm contacting support why http://hjson.github.io/ is not working ATM, maybe it's a bug or we need to turn off the custom domain first. |
So I should have read the documentation more carefully :) The project that gets published to https://hjson.github.io needs to be named |
Forward should now be active, going to https://hjson.github.io/ @dqsully when you make changes, could you update the readme's of the other projects? |
I'll make some time for that tomorrow :) |
@dqsully Just a reminder, if you have the time ;-) |
hjson.org seems to be squatted by a gambling site FYI. |
hjson.org will expire on Jan 15. Because of the uncertainty for the future of the org domains I'd prefer if the project could switch to https://hjson.github.io/
Thoughts @dqsully?
