Why can't it work alongside actual Amiibos ?

Hello, i would like to ask why we can't use the real amiibos alongside wumiibo.
You said it's a rewrite of the NFC module, so technically speaking you could potentially enable the real NFC scanning when a game needs it and the emulation is disabled.
And as soon as you start emulation it prevents scanning, but only during the time of Emulation.
Is such a thing possible ? And if not why so ?
