Update dependencies and release new version #115
Comments
@stefnotch I'm with you all the way 😃 I started down this road with #114 and hit roadblocks I unfortunately don't have the time to investigate right now. I'm more than happy to invite collaborators interested in helping maintain trilogy as well (I still have fancy static typing ambitions about v3). |
I see, makes sense. I personally wouldn't have time to maintain this library, but hopefully someone else will step up to the task. :) By the way, there is also another quite interesting library: https://github.com/koskimas/kysely |
context
proposed solution
This package depends on knex ^0.20.1
trilogy/package.json
Line 47 in 6d73d73
Meanwhile, knex itself has gone through 2 major version releases, with lots of changes and features. Among other things, it now supports better-sqlite3.
https://github.com/knex/knex/releases
It'd be lovely if that dependency were updated.
alternatives
Tricky, I'd love to use trilogy and avoid having to manually deal with all of this (installing sqlite, using an ORM, etc.)
additional info
When installing this package, one even gets warnings about old, deprecated dependencies. I suppose updating all dependencies might be in order?
