PGroongaでインデックスを作る時に pgroonga_full_text_search_condition という型でキャストできますが、複数の書き方ができるのはなぜでしょうか？

と
column &@~ (query, weights, scorers, index_name)::pgroonga_full_text_search_condition

と２つの書き方ができますが、(query, weights, index_name)と(query, weights, scorers, index_name)のように要素が異なるのに同じpgroonga_full_text_search_conditionでキャストできるのはなぜでしょうか？

複数の書き方はできません！
(query, weights, index_name)の型はpgroonga_full_text_search_conditionで、(query, weights, scorers, index_name)の型はpgroonga_full_text_search_condition_with_scorersです。
