Hey there,
I just finished commenting everything out of my root ~/.tmux.conf, the one we shouldn't touch. DIdn't have much in there, mostly just tpm and 3-4 plugins including Dracula theme.

I've been using ~/.config/ for most of my applications so I figured that's the best installation method. Below is a screenshot of my post-install (Cloning oh-my-tmux, symlinking tmux.conf, and cp'ing tmux.conf.local)

image

Not sure how helpful this will be, but here's a tree output of my .config dir:

image

I have oh-my-zsh set up which may be interfering. I'm using the TMUX_AUTOSTART and tmux plugin, along with the oh-my-zsh p10k theme.

~/.config/tmux/tmux.conf.local

Here is the contents of my ~/.config/tmux/tmux.conf.local file (I did not change much other than the three binds at the top that open panes in same dir, and added a few tpm plugins: tmux-sensible, tmux-resurrect, and tmux-continuum):

Note: I'm unable to trigger the TPM installer which is super strange. I will also paste in my old ~/.tmux.conf that is now all commented out for reference as it might help down below

Hello @limsammy 👋

Oh my tmux! won't work if you mashup different tmux configurations.

I have oh-my-zsh set up which may be interfering. I'm using the TMUX_AUTOSTART and tmux plugin
I'm sorry I don't use that myself.

I'm sorry I don't use that myself.

Fixed it! Juat deleted my root ~/.tmux.conf as that's the config file tmux was using.

However now another issue: Why is my theme/prompt the default zsh when I start tmux?
