jdk 7's builtin WatchService is a low level API, users need handle recursively directory watch by themselves and this will lead events lost in fact. so i prefer this project which handle recursively directory watch internally.
can you please add JDK 8 support and newer kernel (for example 3.16 or newer) support ?
