馃枛 Keep it alive: Collaborators needed #727
Comments
I'm already onboard, so count me in! :) |
Would love to help :D |
@ferrarimarco Welcome to the club. You're a veteran in this repo, and I'm honored that you attend to us. 馃帀 |
@m1guelpf Thank you for the quick response. Very glad to hear from new people about willing to help! 馃憤 |
Hello eveyone, |
I would like to start collaborating, but I am a totally newbie in Ruby. Is there another way how can I contribute to this project? Also, looking forward to the Gitlab version, it will be awesome. |
Hey @skywinder, are you still looking for help? We use this project pretty extensively in the Solidus ecosystem for managing the changelogs of all our extensions, and we'd love to give a hand. I'm not sure about the best way to get the Solidus community to look at this repo in addition to Solidus stuff, but I'll spread the word! |
Important update: But I'm willing to pay and support if someone can help to handle this repo. Please send me a message if anyone interested in this! Cheers! |
Hey @skywinder, I recently started using this gem over at https://github.com/rpush/rpush/ and have been going over the issues of this repo. You recently added the "in progress" tag to a lot of issues, does that mean they are all being worked on? Many of them seem stale. |
@aried3r oops, I set it by mistake with banch-editing of issues. |
Bump on this. If anyone wants to participate in the project, here is a great chance to do that 馃憤: |
Hello everyone. We want to find supporters who can help us to manage the releases of the library. @olleolleolle, @ferrarimarco, and I did a fantastic job in the past. |
Hi, I love this project and want to keep this project alive! Although GitHub lets users automatically generate release notes, this project is still valuable because |
I鈥檇 love to help. |
History:
I started this project by myself on Oct 26, 2014.
A year later, with the power of a list of awesome developers and especially @olleolleolle we continued to improve this library.
Then I switched to other projects and realized, that repo is living by their life (with intensive supervision of @olleolleolle).
I was pretty amazed, how cool is it: It becomes bigger and bigger, so I decide to move it from my personal account to a separate organization, to highlight, that is the collaborative work of many developers.
Current state
TIme goes by. So I'm 100% working with other projects. As well as @olleolleolle for now.
So, now there is 99 open issues and 6 PR. We realized that we couldn鈥檛 support it along with our projects.
So we are looking for the people who ready to take a responsibility to lead this project.
We need more Collaborators.
github-changelog-generator is alive. It stable. And simple awesome. But we want to continue support by 3rd party fans. Who keen to do good open source things.
If you are willing to help this project to get better: feel free to contact me and @olleolleolle (or send a comment here, if you are eager to help with development or handle open issues.
Scenery,
Petr Korolev
