Have you considered adding multiple providers such as subliminal?

By curiosity, I first checked if it was possible to embed some python library in Electron. The only interesting post I found is this one: https://www.fyears.org/2015/06/electron-as-gui-of-python-apps.html
Building this feature on top of an already existing library is a nice option. Subliminal is the best choice out there: unified api, actively maintained and updated. But I'm an Electron beginner, I can't tell if this can be a valid option.
