There are a few people working on integrating a Kotlin language server into Zed, an open source lightweight high performance code editor released earlier this year by the team behind Atom. Their Kotlin extension is located here
The extension is still very young with lots of opportunities for contributing, and Zed looks like a promising competitor to vscode/fleet. If anyone wants to help make Kotlin on a non-JetBrains editor a reality, help would be appreciated!
