When you have a Frank configuration with property stub4testtool.configuration set, a stub receiver is created for each adapter and also for each original receiver. For Frank2Example1 in the Frank!Runner, this results in three receivers: the original receiver, the stub receiver for the adapter and the stub receiver for the receiver. This is confusing, see picture:
I had a phone call with Ricardo van Holst, because he intentionally changed the F!F to implement the observed behavior. This was expressed in F!F issue frankframework/frankframework#1102 and implemented in PR frankframework/frankframework#1311 He has changed his mind so we have his permission to change the F!F again. We only want to produce a stub receiver for each adapter. No additional stub receivers are needed for receivers.
