For beginners, log on to the Fortran-lang website and click get_started to learn, but if they want to download the Fortran compiler, they will be confused, why Fortran does not provide a set of direct links to download the Fortran compiler like other languages. Such as python, julia, R, go, dotnet ...

Fortran Description
Get Started Download

I know Fortran is different from many languages. There are many manufacturers that provide compilers for Fortran.
Linux distribution system package repository generally have gfortran, but for windows system, if I am a beginner, I can't get the gfortran compiler well through the fortran-lang website (https://fortran-lang.org/compilers/).

Is it worth it to add some Fortran compiler download links, and what is a reasonable way to do it? Should some latest version of fortran compiler be recommended?
